The Wave – Miami South Beach

As the water rolls in, it caresses natures path into existence.
The wave beats its drums loudly,
Letting humanity know to respect the their surroundings.

On their clearest of days the waves are beautiful,
Rushing, filling, laughing and collapsing into one another.
They are like children playing until fulfilled.

The crystal blue water turns into a large white mountain,
Pounding, itself repeatedly into the sand.
May each generation experience a simple wonder of nature’s existence.

A Falling Heart

Take the care out of the world the nonsense selfishness is absurd.
The beats of the our hearts are no longer in sync,
Our paths went astray we must make space to think.
How did our hearts begin to fall with these sacrifices and all.

The world needs to be in order with a hand for sharing.
A falling heart in a million people is a lack of caring.
If I look at you and you look at me do you see what I see?
Is this the only way and does it have to be?

Look around and hear the heart go weaker,
More and more people feel apart from here.
Let nature and nuture be part of our lives.

Let it engulf our being,
and rejoice in starting a new drumbeat for our heart.
An extra beat to our heart is a minute gained in our life.
So, listen for the beats of our lives.

The Universe

If  the universe is the measure of my love,
Let both arms reach this and wrap myself around you.
Only then can we treasure the joining of life together,
With everlasting peace within. 

The peace of fulfillment, commitment, and understanding.
Understanding of our dreams, who we are, of where we belong.
A belongingness, which is the salt of the earth.
Let me reach that and beyond to the limits of the universe.

Its only the third time last time
Since you picked up and slammed the phone
It may be a fourth time this time
But should I think it over more?

I lost touch with all that’s real
and I forgot you were up for take
you said that my heart lost the feel
and now I’m hung out to dry

fame for me, but I’ve lost you

Its only for now that the lights shine bright
Makeup baking on my broken skin
So sick I am of all the fights
Where the fuck am I right now?

Drinks and girls and sex and pills
Am I asleep or drifting awake
The sacrifice I made for all these thrills
close the curtains please, before I drop

I felt that feeling the other day. The one that others have told me they’d felt, the one that feels right, I was overcome by something, it was in the air all around me, it peeled at me and pulled me out of me, I drifted like a spirit above my case, everything rushed into my mind at once, the beautiful things in my life and they asked me to look and admire, I accepted………. and then returned.

like a bud in spring, young and new
your eyes invited me to the door of your heart
I got stranded from others trying to get in
in dream I’m always in a room next to you
the door is stuck and you don’t know it’s cold waiting there
so I closed your eyes and openned mine instead
while the world turned a lifetime between us
and youth was bartered for wisdom
we took a peek one day and spoke of years that were lived
we laughed at us and our hearts and the mates of our soul
time played it’s game on us as it did before
as distance became the bandit of our fate
two doors openned without power to enter
while the years shape ourselves into forms unspoken
the wind has blown you to lie in my heart of hearts
for your precious heart I make a salute at your doorway.

This gift in my life flew down like a dove

As our hands separate for their last embrace, and you awake,

Will you remember me as I remember you?

Keep your heart warm about me, as I always have about you,

Don’t let life and love pass you, as you remember me.

Our last chance of a moment is at a stand still for an eternity,

Remember it as a gift of love, and cherish it forever,
